The art of Visual Merchandising explores techniques and tools that can be utilised to enhance the retail experience.

 

Working within a group I had to create and present a Visual Merchandising strategy based on an innovative concept for a chosen retail store. This was demonstrated through individual research and mood boards, in-store merchandising and a brand guidelines group booklet. To communicate and justify the Visual Merchandising strategy, we had had to present our idea through a visual group presentation.   

 

The module challenged me to generate ideas to sustain and develop an original concept by using imaginative research methods. I learned how to utilise a variety of sources to communicate the key functions and planning methods of Visual Merchandising.
